VersaChrome 可调式带通滤光片

Semrock 开发了一项新的光学滤光片工艺:VersaChrome™ 可调式薄膜光学滤光片,通过调节入射角,在很宽的波长范围内,中间波长 CWL 可连续可调,而光谱性能基本上没有变化。该系列滤光片的调节范围大于正常入射波长的 11%(通过改变入射角从 0 到 60°),带宽(FWHM)都是 20 nm,使用几个滤光片就可以覆盖整个可见光谱。应用范围包括:荧光成像和测量、高光谱成像和高通量光谱学。具有好的偏振不敏感度、高光学质量和损伤阈值,他们很适合激光应用。

VersaChrome 滤光片结合了薄膜光学滤光片的光谱特性和二维成像能力以及衍射光栅的波长调谐方便性。如下图所示,VersaChrome 可调式带通滤光片具有宽的可调谐性。

众所周知,当光入射到滤光片上的角度从 0°(正入射)增加到较大的角度时,任何薄膜滤光片的光谱都会向较短波长偏移。然而,一般情况下,滤光片光谱在较大角度下会发生严重扭曲,并且对于s偏振光和p偏振光,其偏移量可能会显著不同,在更大的角度下会产生强的偏振依赖性。

左边的图表显示了一个典型的荧光滤光片在从 0° 到 60° 的六个不同入射角下的光谱。注意,对于大于约 30° 的角度,s- 偏振光的透过率约为0%,p- 偏振光的纹波很高。相比之下,Semrock 的 VersaChrome 带通滤光片(右)的频谱在0到60°的整个角度范围内保持高透过率、陡的边缘和高的通带外的阻挡。

该工艺的关键是:Semrock 发现了一种方法,可以制作陡度高的边缘滤光片(长波通或“通断”和短波通或“截止”型滤光片),在高的入射角下,基本上没有偏振分离,对于两种偏振光的边缘陡率相同。一个同样重要且相关的性质是,高陡率的边缘和弱偏振分离适用于从正常入射(0°)到高角度的入射角。因此,可以在该全角度范围内对边缘滤光片或边缘滤光片的组合进行角度调谐,而不管通过滤光片的光的偏振状态如何,边缘的特性没有变化。因此,现在可以制造可调式薄膜滤光片,其工作波长范围宽 – Semrock 的 VersaChrome 系列可调式滤光片的调谐范围至少为正常入射时滤光片边缘或中间波长的11%。
